Mother to Be Full Body Massage

Lava shell massage

Lava shells are the world's first naturally self-heating tool, which allows a massage therapist to include heat into their techniques. The warmth is produced by inserting a lava gel sachet and an activator liquid into the shell. The lava shells are genuine, hand-selected Tiger Clam shells that are native to the oceans surrounding the Philippines. Local villagers, having no use for the shells, simply threw them away. No animals are harmed in any way during the creation of our lava shells.
Lava Shell Massage can ease tense muscles as the heat gently relaxes and smooths away any knots, boosts circulation, reduces swelling and water retention. It will leave you feeling stress-free and relaxed.

Hot Lava Shell Relax Body Massage

The Lava Shell Relax Body massage is the soothing solution to your stress and tension. As the therapist glides the marine polished sea shells smoothly all over the body, you will drift into a state of utter relaxation and calm.

During the massage, the shells are worked over the palms, arms and neck, focusing on the pressure points. The therapist will work on the deep tissue around tension areas such as the feet, back and shoulders in order to ease away tension, knots and stress. This will unblock energy flow and release a sense of balance to the entire body and mind.

Hot Lava Shell Back Massage

Massage pre and post care

To get the best out of your treatment, please read the below instructions carefully and follow them as strictly as possible to ensure your own health and safety.

01.

FOOD AND DRINK

Please avoid eating a heavy meal and drinking alcohol for an hour before your massage, to prevent any discomfort or for the massage to increase the effects of alcohol in your system. Avoid heavy meals for a few hours after your appointment.

02.

HAIR

If you have been for a workout prior to your appointment, please ensure you are freshly showered and that your hair is not wet or damp.

03.

HYDRATION

To gain maximum benefits from your massage treatment we advise you drink plenty of water! Stress and tension cause a build-up of toxins in your body, which massage helps to remove. Water speeds up this elimination.

04.

ALCOHOL

Alcohol should be avoided for 24 hours as it is counterproductive to the removal of toxins.

05.

SHOWER

To ensure you gain the maximum benefits of any oils we have used during your massage, we recommend that you avoid having a shower or bath for at least 4-6 hours after your appointment.

06.

LIGHT

Avoid exposure to strong sunlight and sunbeds following the use of massage oils.

07.

SLEEP

It is possible you may feel a little tired, a small amount of soreness, have headaches or even feel a tad more emotional than usual within the first 24 hours after your massage. This is perfectly normal! Your body is relaxing, don’t fight it! They will pass as your body rebalances itself.

08.

POSTURE AND PAIN

If you have chosen to have a massage in order to help correct an issue developed from poor posture, we would advise you try to fix the cause of your tense muscles. This could be due to the incorrect setup of your computer and desk, a very common problem! Otherwise you will be back to see us before you know it, and as much as we would love to see you we’d rather you weren’t in pain!
